General English
The courses are delivered using the Callan Method. In the Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate
and Advanced groups additionally we use a course book (Cambridge 'English Grammar in Use'
Raymond Murphy and Cambridge 'English Vocabulary in Use' Stuart Redman). We also have fun
translating our favorite lyrics, which helps to remember the vocabulary faster and in a
pleasant way as well as become familiar with Everyday English.
Medical English
The course has been designed to suit medical professionals such as doctors, nurses, medical technicians, physiotherapists and masseurs.
The classes are divided into two parts. The first part is delivered using the Callan Method, which allows the student to get to know the specific vocabulary used in anatomy, physiology, different parts of the human body, illness and disease, as well as the organization of the British and Irish hospital system.
The second lesson is delivered using a course book and a CD ('English in Medicine'
Eric Glendinning and Beverlt Holmstrm, Cambridge University Press, ISBN 0-521-60666-7).
The student practices direct contact with the patient. They learn taking a history and
notes, writing referral letters and reports, common medical abbreviations, and how to
examine and diagnose the patient. In order to communicate more effectively with the patient
the student acquires the knowledge of the professional vocabulary as well as its common
synonym. Working with the CDs the student experiences 'real life English' through listening
to the examination and filling in the case history. During the classes the students work in
pairs (role playing) which allows them to break the ice and overcome the fear of using the
professional language in an adequate context.
English in a Nutshell
The course contains basic grammar and vocabulary for those that wish to master elementary
aspects of the English language. The course covers the following areas: in a bank, at the doctor,
looking for a job, getting the PPS number, Social Welfare. Students receive handouts such
as applications for the PPS number, bank account, Child Benefit etc.
English for Builders, Carpenters, Roofers
The course is delivered using the Callan Method and is focused on the industry specific vocabulary.
ART WORKSHOP
Children and teenagers
- Painting:
During the classes we use different art techniques: - acrylics
- crayons
- collage
- Ornamenting and paining on glass (teenagers and adults):
- getting to know the technique of glass painting
- basic design of painting using the glass paints
- Stained glass:
- getting to know the technique of stained glass painting
- basic design of stain glass
- Drawings:
We create drawings using various art techniques such as: - charcoal
- pencil
- Monotype (for Teenagers)
The inspiration and the subject of the works during the classes are still life, landscape and your own imagination.
We provide all the necessary materials for all the classes.
Adults
These are very interesting and inspiring classes where you can find something especially for you. We uncover the mysteries of painting, drawing, sculpture and stained glass.
Time spent on the classes not only allows you to develop your skills but is also a great way of relaxing. The program is designed in a way that allows beginners and more experienced students work in the one group. You also have freedom of carrying out your own projects and ideas during the classes.
We provide basic material such as: canvas, paper, tools, and acrylics.
If you would like to do oil on canvas you are required to provide your own paints.
Dance Classes for Adults
During the classes the students get an insight into social dancing with some elements of Latin-American dances such as: The cha-cha, samba, mambo, salsa, tango and disco party dance. You learn the beautiful art of dancing in sync with your partner, being able to express yourself through different musical styles. In addition, you gain self awareness of your body, the space you occupy and you will learn how to move in a way that exudes grace and confidence.

MTV Dance for Children & Teenagers
During the MTV Dance classes you learn the steps of great pop and hip-hop stars. You discover different dance styles ranging from hip hop, jazz, disco to Latino dances. You gain a self awareness of your body and work within your limits. We guarantee great music, atmosphere and fun not to mention the possibility of making new friends.
After each course we organize a show for your parents and friends.
You will also receive a diploma and have the possibility to take part in a dance contest.

The course is 3 hours long during which you brush up your CV adjusting it to the market requirements. The student gets to know the interview techniques, standard questions and learns how to cope with them. You also learn how to best present and 'sell' yourself.
